• Upgrade to Meet Advanced Wastewater Treatment (AWT) Standards (5 Mg/L Cbod, 5 Mg/L Tss, 3 Mg/L Tn, 1 Mg/L TP)

• Expansion of the Treatment Capacity by Up to 1.0 Million Gallons Per Day (MGD)

• Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Was Established for Nitrate (No3-) that Would Allow for the Restoration and Protection of Blue Spring and Blue Spring Run

• Proposed a 5-Stage Bardenpho BNR System to Meet the New TMDL Requirements and AWT Standards

• New Flow Metering Systems;
• A New Mechanical Barscreen System;
• An Anoxic Flow Equalization Basin;
• Conversion of the USBF Treatment Trains and The Orbal Treatment Trains into Fourstage BNR Treatment Systems (Anaerobic Basins, Primary Anoxic Basins, Aerobic Basins, Deoxygenation Basins, Secondary Anoxic Basins And Reaeration Basins);
• A Common Reaeration Basin;
• Two New Secondary Clarifiers And RAS/WAS Pumping Systems;
• Addition of One Turbo Blower;
• Fine Bubble Aeration/Bubble Mixing Systems;
• Internal Recycle Pumping;
• Chemical and Supplemental Carbon Storage/Handling Facilities;
• Disc Filtration System Expansion;
• Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation and SCADA Improvements;
